Suzanne and Robert…wedding!
Posted in: weddings » December 18, 2009What a fabulous way to end my 2009 wedding season! Â Suzanne&Robert had a beautiful wedding at the Texas Federation of Women’s Club mansion. Â It was the perfect setting for their ceremony and reception, and friends and family came from all around the world to celebrate! Â One of favorite moments of the night was when Suzanne told me they were about to play belly dancing music. Â ”There are belly dancers??”, I asked. Â I didn’t remember seeing that on the itinerary… Then she explained that some of her family is Middle Eastern and she’s been belly dancing since she was 6!!! Â It was so awesome to see her shaking it on the dance floor! Â The entire evening was so laid back and fun. Â Rachel from Buon Affare Events kept things running smoothly. Â Suzanne and Robert - thanks so much for having me along for your wedding day!! Â It has been such a joy to work with you, and I hope you have a FANTASTIC honeymoon!!!
There’s nothing wrong with letting technology help you out with tying a bow-tie…
Flowers by The Glass Fountain and linens by Marquee.
They had an awesome first dance!! Â It was beautiful watching them glide across the ballroom dance floor…
Primizie provided the yummy-ness. Â Mmmmm….
Lavender and Roses provided more yummy-ness…
I must say I especially loved the groom’s cake. Â :)
August Martin with CreativBalance kept the music going all night.
I photographed Jill’s bridals last year, and she’s the one that referred me to Suzanne…thanks again, Jill!! Â :)

One of my favorites moments of the night was when “Put the Lime in the Coconut” came on and Jeff and his buddies took over the dance floor…AWESOME!

The
Vanessa’s the one that introduced me to Juanpablo and Marissa, and she was a guest at the wedding. We snapped a few mugs…but, um… I think we need to work on our poses…Â
Nothing calms the nerves better than a little Lady Gaga.
Melissa and Steve chose to see each other just before the ceremony.
